Overview

In this message, we are called to step into a God-ordained season of restoration — not just of buildings or systems, but of the dwelling place, people, order, excellence, and mission of God. The pastor challenges us to honor the faithful foundation of the past without being anchored to it, recognizing that God is shifting the atmosphere and calling us forward to a level we have never reached before. Like new wine requiring fresh wineskins, we are invited to stretch our faith and embrace what God wants to do right now.

1. Think of a time in your own life when you sensed a fresh start or a new season beginning. What did that feel like, and what helped you step into it?
2. The pastor described restoration as involving "the dwelling place of God, the people of God, the order of God, the excellence of God, and the mission of God." Which of these five areas stood out to you most, and why?
3. What do you think Jesus meant when He said new wine requires new wineskins? In what ways might God be asking this church — or your own life — to stretch in order to hold something new?
4. The message said, "We keep settling for what is good, but God wants what is best." Where in your personal walk with God might you be settling for good when He is calling you toward best?
5. What is one specific area of your faith, your habits, or your involvement in this community where you sense God inviting you to move forward — even if it feels uncomfortable?

Identify one area of your spiritual life that has fallen back or grown stale, and take one concrete step this week to restore it — whether that means returning to a spiritual discipline, reaching out to someone you've been distant from, or saying yes to a role or responsibility you've been avoiding.
